Wiggle Super Series Night Rider Sportive (road) - Under 16 Routes Sporting Events Wiggle Super Series Wiggle Super Series Night Rider Sportive (Road) - Under 16 Routes: If you are looking for a new riding experience...look no further. The Wiggle Super Series brings you something truly special, a new concept in sportive riding... the night time Sportive! Experience the tranquillity and exhilaration of riding with a group of like minded riders on quite roads in Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire at night. This well designed stunning course will do a figure of '8' around spectacular Graftham Water and Rutland Water, taking in the best, most peaceful roads on the way. In addition to the Epic 100 mile route, there is a Standard 70 mile route, allowing riders to choose their own challenge. So how will you know which way to go? The course will be extremely well marked with clear reflective signs. So your bike lights will light up the signs like Blackpool illuminations. What will you need? The obviously, a good set of lights with a decent burn time and some bright / reflective clothing. Except for that, what you would need for a normal sportive, food/ drink, spare tubes, pump etc. Note: all riders must have a bright rear light (Red). In the event Pre information pack we will provide information on how you can make your lights last long, the advantages of riding with other riders and what you should bring with you. Wiggle Super Series Falling Leaves (mtb/cross) - Under 16 Routes Sporting Events Wiggle Super Series Wiggle Super Series Falling Leaves (MTB/Cross) - Under 16 Routes: Part of the New Forest Cycle Festival, the 'Falling Leaves' is a MTB and Cyclocross ride set against the stunning backdrop of the New Forest National Park. The course sweeps through the quiet flowing leafy off road tracks, Cycle Paths and is joined by sections of Forest lanes, taking in breathtaking views of the Forest as the trees drop their golden leaves. The event will suit a wide range of rider's disciplines and abilities, as the course is fairly flat and not technical. Experience riders will want to set a good time, as they blast around this flowing course, while new riders can ride at their own pace taking in the scenery. The nature of the tracks and off road cycle paths in the New Forest makes it perfect for either, Mountain Biking, Cyclocross or Families to enjoy. With this in mind there are 3 ride options: Epic - 66km / 40 miles, Standard - 41km / 25 miles, and Family Fun - 11km / 7 miles. Wiggle Super Series Devils Punch Bowl Sportive (road) - U16 Routes Sporting Events Wiggle Super Series Wiggle Super Series Devils Punch Bowl Sportive (Road) - U16 Routes: The last Sportive in the 2011 Wiggle Super Series is a great way to end your 2011 season, before the winter kicks in! Starting close to the easy to access Devils Punch Bowl and from which the sportive gets it name. The course weaves through the scenic roads between the North and South Downs, looping around the stunning Devils Punch Bowl before heading up to the challenging North Downs briefly and then returns South to Hollycombe Steam Collection, which is the event Head Quarters. This Sportive has been designed to be slightly shorter than our normal sportives to reflect the time of year. But is still quite a challenge, as the course includes a couple of awesome hills to get the legs pumping and amazing descents to get the heart racing. Taking in the best of the varied landscape of Hampshire, Surrey and the North Downs. Although there are a couple of hills, everything is rideable. A great end of season sportive, on very quite roads, within a stunning area! 2 different ride lengths (75 miles / 50 miles) allows you to pick your challenge for a great day out. For 50 years, Transfil has created, developed, tested and manufactured brake and gear systems for your bike in conformity with the leading bicycle and component manufactures and for every outdoor use : extreme, road and mountain biking. A cable is composed of an inner core and an outer core. The inner core is composed of one steel thread surrounded by 6 threads making one strand. At this point a simple strand or multi-strand cable can be produced. The composition of a single strand cable is (1+6) + 12 = 19 threads, and a multi-strand is (1+6) x 7 = 49 threads. Lasers have been set in place to increase production as well as to control the diameter on a permanent basis and in case of any anomalies stop the machine. Each laser sends out the information acquired to a central computer unit where statistics and analysis can be retrieved.
