One of the most important functions of Flight Series® shells is to regulate body temperature. This is especially critical during aerobic activity in varying conditions. We have achieved success in thermal regulation through a technique of applying windproof fabrics on the front of garments and breathable fabrics on the back panels. When engaged in forward-motion endurance activities, a vast majority of heat-loss occurs on the chest and stomach where wind and weather strike directly. Windproof fabrics minimize the loss of heat in these regions. Concurrently, endurance athletes tend to perspire more on their backs where there is little contact with direct wind.
