You'll have access to searchable points of interest such as food and drink, lodging, recreation, petrol stations, hospitals and more, plus with the included NAVTEQ data you'll be able to auto-route on the roads to get to your planned hike, trail or trip point. With Garmin's new application, BaseCamp, you will be able to view and manage waypoints, routes and tracks on your computer and GPS. This new application includes 2-D and 3-D map views, rotated map orientation, elevation profiles and animated playback of routes and tracks. It allows you to organize trip data into folders and transfer trip data to and from compatible devices. The software also supports geotagging photos, higher resolution images and more.
