Sometimes you need a Bootie which provides wind protection, has a high degree of waterproofness, but you don't want it to provide the warmth that a No Rain overshoe has. The material is very stretchy and provides a really close fit to the shoe which means that the extended use period can be longer making them ideal for damp, windy winter days but they are equally at home in the Autumn and Spring where you need some protection but don't require the bulk of a full on Winter overshoe. Sportful No Rain Bootie Shoes Sportful Sportful No Rain Bootie: Waterproof overshoes for dryness and comfort in the worst conditions. No Rain Nanotechnology Never before has a 60 gram fabric provided this much protection. It was a 10,000 mm water column for complete waterproofness, 10,000 mv/p for good breathability, a nontechnology water repellant outer layer, and packs away into next-to-nothing when not needed. These overshoes provide the best balance between having warm feet and dry feet. The soft material is very similar to what has been used on the No Rain warmers, but as the fabric has been tested to 10,000 mm water column you can be confident in the products ability to keep you dry. Most common areas where overshoes let in water is around the ankle area, but as the No Rain version has a double cuff it will keep out any running water that may try to get to your socks.
