The bulk of the item has been addressed by using a 2.5 layer polyester Teflon coated fabric. Clever panelling reduces the amount of seams to further enhance the low bulk, because you won't always be wearing them. Adjustable ankle cuffs mean that getting the trousers on is easy while enabling them to be fitted so not to obstruct use while riding. Full reflective detail aids visibility in poor light conditions. Dhb Minima Jacket Cycling dhb dhb Minima Jacket: Teflon coated, fully taped, waterproof and breathable MINIMA rain shell Jacket. This is our first foray into real wet weather protection as it's a 2.5 layer Teflon coated jacket with taped seams. Taped seams allow the jacket to be waterproof as they cover all the holes that stitching leaves behind. The second important element that taping brings to a garment is that the areas which come in contact with bags, it means that moisture will not seep through like a wet sponge. The jacket has been cut to wear over a Roubaix Jersey, so allowing a little more room as this has been conceived as a wet weather riding product. Of course it'll happily live in a bag until it's called into duty. Keeping weight to a minimum the cuffs are elastic, rather than Velcro, and this is complimented with an elastic cuff around the hem. A waterproof zip keeps up the minimal theme and so negates the use of a double baffle to make sure that water doesn't come through this frontal point. A higher fleece lined collar adds to the snug feel and does a great job of guarding against gusts of wind trying to chill you to the bone.
